The California prison system is widely known to be among the least humane in the western world. It’s full of gang warfare, assault, murder, rape, and civil rights abuses seemingly without end. The product of this prison system is monstrous and devastating and tragic on a scale we won’t even comprehend for decades to come.

It’s that bad.

Anyone who was in charge of sending people into this modern gulag of horrors should not only be disqualified from running for president, but they should be liable for crimes against humanity.
