I’ve come to the same conclusions. In the county in central Vermont where I live, we’ve had fewer than 50 cases and only one death. So COVID isn’t even a top 10 cause of death here. The whole state is more or less the same. Meanwhile we’ve shuttered hundreds of small businesses, laid off thousands of mostly blue collar workers and many of these businesses and jobs are not coming back.

All because of incompetence and fear from our elected officials who panicked based on the most dire worst case scenario they could find.

A Cassandra used to be someone with serious warnings ignored by everyone. Now suddenly in this one case the Cassandras are people who ask questions and are skeptical of an increasingly absurd official narrative.
