Democrats should have nominated someone left of Biden - instead they went with a tough on crime prosecutor guilty of all of the worst kind of abuses that groups like BLM rightfully disdain.

If Biden was an architect of the reinvigoration of the war on drugs in the 80s and 90s, Harris is the point of the spear that carried through into the 2000s. She locked up thousands of (mostly POC) non-violent drug offenders.

I could go on an on... her truancy criminalization... her blockage of DNA testing for inmates that would exonerate them... and not to mention the California prison system that is one of the most grotesque and brutal in the world - she's a uniquely bad person let alone a bad candidate for Veep.

Outside of her obvious tendency to do as she's told by party elites, I don't understand this nomination at all.
