Covid is likely to be a statistical anomaly. In terms of mortality, for everyone alive today it will be one of the least likely ways to die. Heart attacks are still the most likely way that almost everyone reading this will die. My point: the America of busybodies freaking out about Covid are not and never will freak out about the very real threat of a heart attack, nor will most of them do anything to seriously address heart disease. The covid mania is a narrative-driven mania, not a data driven one.
