A Vicious Attack on Women who Dispense Dating Advice To Men
Have you ever used a wood chipper?
I haven’t. They seem incredibly dangerous and while I could literally hazard a guess about their operation, I wouldn’t dare to dream that I could give you very good advice about how to use one.
I own a chainsaw, and I use it frequently, but I can’t imagine there’s much crossover.
My best advice? Maybe don’t put your limbs anywhere near one? That’s almost so obvious that it probably wouldn’t count as real advice or instructions on their safe, successful operation.
Most of us will never use a wood chipper. And most of us would also immediately disqualify ourselves from dispensing safe or esoteric advice about their use.
Even if you asked me to give you written advice on how to use a chainsaw (something I am acquainted with) I would probably tell you to get in-person instruction.
If we have never had any success, experience or even made the most elementary attempt to do something, it’s unlikely that we will be able to be very good at helping other people in that field.
That’s as true for using wood chippers as it is for men giving dating advice to women — or more commonly: women giving dating advice to men.
